Shady Monk // Shay.

I'm 'Shay' (aka Shady Monk), a Philadelphia-based electronic music producer, DJ, visual artist, and creative director. 

Since I started producing music in 2008, I've explored a wide spectrum of sound and style, composing and performing original music, scoring for indie films / games, and collaborating with artists across many genres.

I've managed several net labels since 2016, and have been hosting my own radio series, "Behind the Mask" on Blooplondon Radio since 2023.

If my passion for music is one side of the coin, the other side would most definitely be visual art & design. I love crafting character designs, logos, typography, and release artwork for musicians, as well as concept pieces for studios, and independent brands.
